The Japanese did that as a form of control. They weren't out there to exterminate the whole Chinese race. They were there killing shitloads of people in the worst possible way so the Chinese would be too scared to fight back.

I don't know if Linzy's figures are right either. But if you go by what % of a race was eliminated you might be able to get her figures to jive.

As a % I would say the Jews lost the most people.

-like was said above, the chinese weren't targeted for extinction
-40% to 60% of all chinese weren't cremated
-the ones that were left didn't all come to the US and want their story told

because the Jewish race was targeted to be wiped out. that's what extermination is. that's what the holocaust was. as far as figures go talking about the mass killing of a race, the holocaust was one of the largest genocides in history period. that's the point. yes there have been others that many can argue are the same or larger, but the fact of the holocaust being one of the largest ever still remains.

Well that story didn't start off very truthful.

Hell, I remember watching a program about it in "World at War", a BBC series, when I was 11 or 12. We learned about it in High School as well.

Horrible yes, was their goal to eliminate the Chinese as a race? No.

That is HIGHLY debatable. There is no known Nazi program to extinct the Jewish people. The official programs were stated as EXTERMINATION. If the Nazis intended to commit genocide, it is not reflected in their policies.

That does not mean that they were not responsible for millions of deaths, but let us have a clear understanding of the events of the past so that we can better understand the present.

Again, that was ONE incident. I have seen estimates that are in between 20 and 30 million Chinese total were killed. I am sure every single one of those people were holding a gun and died while fighting right? EVERYTHING that happened to Jews in camps happened to the Chinese...whether it be experimentation, torture, being burnt to death, beheading...all happened.
