Maybe I missed something, but why isn't he allowed to participate in anything?

Because they raised the bar once he met it

Nobody wants him, he's a distraction that parrots what he said in 2004

Tonight in Michigan, it was a 3 person race: Gravel, Hillary, and Dennis

What does he get? 4%

Hillary and Obama are obviously the front runners, and Edwards gets the remainder for a solid 3rd place...

So, naturally, Hillary and Obama must attend, then it comes down to the rest...hmm let's look

A guy who gets 17% in NH, another who got 1% in NH but still thousands of votes and another who gets less than 1%, but still hundreds of votes...where should we draw the line? Also, the last 2 got 0% in Iowa

I guess we should have Duncan Hunter in the next GOP debate, or heck, anyone who can get 500 people at work to vote for them

Maybe instead of the current format, we should fill a football stadium full of anyone who can get 500 votes, and each person gets 2 seconds to speak

The south carolina debate could be in Clemson and with everyone getting 2 seconds x 80,000 seats...that's 160,000 seconds...so it would only take 44 hours for the GOP candidates to get 2 seconds of air time

Because the liberal media is against him.

Seriously, that's it? They won't let him in cause they don't like him?

it's no different than fox news not letting ron paul in

actually, fox has less of a reason... paul has a lot more support and probably more money too

no big deal though... they both don't have a chance, so whatever.

let's get back to the debate.

hillary did fine. she seemed very confident
