The Tigers' first combat was on 20 December 1941, twelve days after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor (local time). In November they were still training in Burma. Conventional history states that the Japs were aware of our buildup in Burma. By our own current foreign policy, they would be viewed as an "Eminent" threat, AND we had been doing provocative naval maneuvering and occupying South Pac islands. This all points to a CLEAR prelude to war. The Pearl Harbor attack was not unexpected and our actions contributed to the Japanese motive for the attack. That much is clear. | ||||
