MSNBC hosts weep for Obama, mock Fred

If anything, it's honorable that Fred is going to be with his sick mom.

It was an odd moment. Fred gave a nice speech, mentioned that he was leaving town, but didn’t say whether he was staying in or getting out of the race after finishing third in South Carolina. But it’s evidently too much to ask of anyone on the air at MSNBC to keep their emotions to themselves. They weep at Barack Obama speeches and laugh at Fred Thompson and act like juveniles the rest of the time. Quite a network you’ve got there, MSNBC.

Staying classy.

However, Keith Olbermann and MSNBC call it a newscast. Does that count?

That's calling it a news show. I find it ridiculous that MSNBC has the balls to call Olbermann's show news as well as let him give rants during their nightly news programs and even host Presidential debates.

I find it ridiculous that Fox calls itself Fair and Balanced. Guess that's just the way things are.

Both Fox and MSNBC chuckled after Thompson left the stage, they laughed because they weren't sure what the hell the speech was supposed to be..

They were told by his campaign that there was an important announcement, so despite his dismal showing in South Carolina, they gave him the airwaves to give his speech.. and then there was no important announcement

I was wondering when this thread was going to be made, it's a huge joke of an issue, but not surprising that some site like hotair would want to jump on it as evidence of something

I don't have a link, I flip between channels during returns to get the latest updates, I happened to have it between MSNBC and Fox during Thompson's speech using the multi-screen feature (Not sure what the official technology is called) on my TV

Brilliant marketing move on the part of MSNBC. Moving clearly to the left is going to increase their ratings. I believe they're positioning themselves as the anti-Fox.
