| I'm going to see it first thing tomorrow. I'm as pacifist as you can get, but come on, this is a action fantasy, nothing to get uptight about. Plus, Rambo II was huge when I was a teenager, so it will be a nice nostalgic blast from the past. Also, I was a big Rocky fan as a kid, and I was very pleased with how Rocky Balboa turned out. Stallone is writing and directing this Rambo movie too, and like Rocky, he pretty much knows this character and genre inside and out. If it's as good as Rocky Balboa, I'll be happy with it, but that's just my opinion. To top it off, from what I hear it's getting pretty good critical buzz, too. | ||||

You kids and your internets tubes, I swear... - Well, I saw it today. It was just okay, sorry to report. All the action sequences were under-cranked so they all have that "Saving Private Ryan" strobe like effect. There is plenty of killing and bodies being blown apart, so if you dig that sort of thing, you'll be pleased. I look forward to the eventual parental movie watchdog that actually tallies how many people get killed or are shown dead. Probably well over a hundred. Lots of severed limbs and exploding heads. Rambo tears one guys throat open with his bare hands. There is one massive explosion that was pretty cool. The movie wasn't bad, just nothing really original or unique about it.
