He's written a lot in 30 years I don't know if you want to jump on that bandwagon with the Ron Paul Newsletter

He still takes pay from Congress, he isn't suffering that he really needs a pay raise or a pension

i'm just echoing what his staff said, if you've known him personally for so many years and can counter that...go ahead...but even his staff hasn't retracted what i've pointed out they stated

Are you just bitter because you're about to be banned from OT?

Posting what his staff has said, in a civil manner = bitter

I get it or maybe not

Where is your proof that he is not spending the money? He's doing so the way Reagan did, mostly on the radio.

Here's the thing. You're basing your entire arguement on one issue (source) and that is Paul's campaign manager's comments:
"But Paul has a vast stockpile of campaign cash at his disposal, thanks to his fundraising success in this year’s presidential bid. He raised about $19 million in the last quarter, and, if he chooses to, he can transfer that money into his congressional treasury.

Paul campaign spokesman Mark Elam indicated that Paul was planning on spending money from his presidential campaign on his House reelection bid. He went up on the airwaves Tuesday with his first advertisement, a radio spot touting his biography and legislative accomplishments."
But how much is he going to spend? You're thinking he's going to need to spend 19 million to defeat a guy who has a warchest of $12,000?

From your source:
"Elam added that the campaign polled Paul’s popularity in the district last month, which showed him with an approval rating over 70 percent. And it is still unclear whether Peden will be able to raise enough money to mount a serious campaign — he raised an anemic $12,000 last quarter."
Move on Thorgrim. There are better things to do with your time.

It's his campaign that's the source...do I need another to talk about...his campaign?

Which do you think holds more weight objectively, what his campaign has actually said, or what you post?

I haven't seen anything about spending the 25+ Million on radio ads, if you have the numbers for that I'd like to see 25+ million for radio

and no, he doesn't need that much to defeat his opponent, that's why he will keep it for the next cycle, and the one after that

Texas is going to be redistricted in 2010 for the 2012 elections, chances are the GOP will get rid of his seat because he's more trouble than he's worth to the party and texas is getting a good deal more seats (4 I think) so they have a lot of redrawing to do

so he might be in a tough contest, better safe than sorry, and it's what his campaign is saying
