If we can infer what democrats will "try"
I think we can infer what Bush will "try"

and with those two put together, we can say what will happen

So, we are back to:
Minimum wage increase (probable)
Impeachment investigation (possible)

Anything else? No one else backed up Ballz's predictions so I guess they weren't hot ideas

like i said, all they will do is pursue an impeachment of bush. nothing else will get done. what a waste of fucking time and money.

then once the american public sees how incompetent they are, they'll go right back to voting republicans in who actually DO something...whether everyone agrees with it or not, bush has been a busy boy in his presidency. hmm...maybe the dems should win congress this yr

Are you going to put down "More stem cell research" under GOP accomplishments after Bush veto'ed it?

Obviously, the Dems in the House won't be able to over-ride Bush's veto

So again, looks like they really won't do anything terrible except a possible impeachment investigation...so I guess we can stop trying to scare voters except for saying "they might try to impeach him"

what they want to do and what they will be able to are two different things. They could effectively end Iraq and Afghanistan if they want to

Impeachment over a BJ is a waste of time and money, thanks for pointing that out. Oh wait, you were talking about an impeachment over something else.

Please tell us what the Republican house/senate has done? I would love to see a list of their accomplishments. I haven't see them pass anything amazing. I still see the same problems over and over again.
All I see is that list of things you posted that they are going to do if they are elected again.

If the emocrats win, all they will do is call for impeachment. When any other issue comes up they will not know what to do because that's all they think about and all they run on. They will spend every moment going after Bush and then when they don't succeed they will all kill themselves and then the republicans will be in.

Clinton wasn't impeached over a blowjob. He was impeached for lying to a federal court after being charged with something far different than getting a BJ from his intern.

Both were equally stupid, and I think Ballz has acknowledged that throughout the this thread.

In a worst case scenario (for Repubs) is that they lose the Senate and House, even then, they'd need 9 GOP senators to cross over to get something done

Can you name 9 GOP senators (not counting Chaf, he'd be gone) that would vote to cut off funding to Afghanistan, and say that every single democrat would?

I mean, common sense...

All funding bills ORIGINATE in the House, but the Senate must pass them as well.

of course, but the senate is the second step. If the majority of the house wants to end funding, it will no doubt turn the tide against any support for the war. If that happens the senate will probably take up the slack.
