Views from home/work

inspired by 7960's window view......

here are some pics i took from my view at work before we moved offices. we were on the 33rd floor.

Autumn

Winter

Spring

Summer

my original idea was to take the 4 pics and put them in a single frame and give them as gifts, titled the seasons in Boston.... never did get around to it.....

now we're on the 25th floor facing the opposite way. our view now is of the water and Logan airport.....

not rly... i actually have no idea where Somerville is in reference to these pics.

across the river to the right.....

across the river is Cambridge. East of Cambridge is Somerville. if you look super close in the upper left hand corner, you can see a dark green area. that's Fenway Park.

i miss being able to see Fenway from my window.

that's the Boston wharf in the Financial district there sonny boy. it's only a handful of buildings. it's not Southie, the South End, North End, Back Bay, Fenway, Beacon Hill or across the river. you make it sound like Beantown is so small. you live in NH!

He used to dock his sailboat right in there at the wharf. It was really pretty cool. Now that they moved to the south shore he moved it over to where the big gastank is. You know, the one with all the colors painted on it.

lol. that's not the "south shore"... that's Dorchester (where I live).... the south shore starts with Quincy! you should know that, come on now. and you say you're from Bawston.

They live on the south shore. The boat is in Dorchester. It's closer to where they live rather than having it dockled at the wharf. That's all.
They actually live in Easton. It's a little bit south and west of Brockton.
They used to live in North Reading which is where I grew up. I havn't been back there in years.

i had a friend that lived in reading.. actually lives in reading, no longer a friend. the porn store in north reading burned down a couple years ago. sad sad occasion.

yes i've been to Atlanta and New York. I almost moved to Chicago 4 years ago. never been to california. but i did live abroad in two large cities in Europe. I know that Boston is a smaller city, but when you're coming from Providence, Boston isn't that small!
