Greetings to the members of the Liberty Lounge,

I'm a 24 year old political science senior at the University of Minnesota (year off + extra year). I generally identify as a Republican with libertarian leanings.

In the 2008 election, I'm a supporter of John McCain. I supported him in 2000, and again supported him in 2008 before briefly supporting Fred Thompson, now I'm back.

I'm the administrator and founder of the World Affairs Board (worldaffairsboard.com), founded in August 2003.

Look forward to the political debates.

Thanks. There seems to be a wide variety of political views on the forum and a good quality of debate.

I actually found this forum through some "DavidHenry". I followed their link to their Jew-hating forum and found your forum being maligned right under mine in the "Jewish/Zionist Strangehold of Internet Forums" section.

Yeah, apparently we're controlled by them, despite the fact that I don't think we have any Jewish people on the forum at all, or if we do, they haven't been active in the religion and philosophy section

We tried to give them some leeway to discuss their opinions, as we don't ban anyone for political reasons, but it became clear they weren't really interested in discussing anything, they just wanted to call people names and spew hatred, enough was enough

His accomplish, "Jenifer" seems to have vanished, wouldn't surprise me if they were the same person

Oh, ps.. if you ever stop by his place again, you should check out the thread created by Simius (a member here), he completely owns them by pointing out the hypocrisy in judging people collectively and while claiming to be against (and obviously hate) that mentality (which they define as a "jewish" mentality)..

If they're badmouthing other sites on the forum, then those sites must be alright.

And yep, the political discussion was getting out of hand on the BattleFront.com forum so they linked to our site and many of our prominent members are from there.

I didn't even wait for them to start spewing anti-Jewish drivel, I just looked at their profiles, clicked their link to their forum, and outright banned them.

They didn't need to say anything objectionable, their profile links were enough to ban them according to ToS. Of course we're not the PC police or anything, but their site is a clear violation of our ToS.

To maintain a level of high-quality discussion, types of behaviors that are forbidden include, but are not limited to:

§ 1.3. posting, uploading or linking to content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, harassing, threatening, sexually suggestive, hateful, profane, or contains racially, ethnically, or religiously objectionable material
