| this was the song/album we listened to, the song originally had nothing to do with Iraq but because it was so fitting (I came home on Oct 4th, exactly a month after being blown up). A lot of gfs and shit wrote the band about who the timing for the song was perfect for the Marines that were with me.
and then a couple of tracks later: We're Coming Home Again Here they come marching down the street Like a desperation murmur of a heart beat Coming back from the edge of town Underneath their feet The time has come and it going nowhere Nobody ever said that life was fair now Go-carts and guns are treasures they will bear In the summer heat The world is spinning Around and around Out of control again From the 7-11 to the fear of breaking down So send my love a letterbomb And visit me in hell We're the ones going Home We're coming home again Home We're coming home again I started fuckin' running Just as soon as my feet touched the ground We're back in Barrio But to you and me, that's jingle town Home We're coming home again Home We're coming home again Home We're coming home again Home We're coming home again Home We're coming home again Home We're coming home again Home We're coming home again Home We're coming home again Home We're coming home again doesn't fit perfectly, kinda eery but that was my war music | |||||||

| On the Offense: DENVER (AP) - Democratic White House candidate Barack Obama on Wednesday said rival Hillary Rodham Clinton is too polarizing to win the presidency and she has taken positions shared by President Bush and Republican candidate John McCain for political expediency. Obama depicted Clinton as a calculating, poll-tested divisive figure who will only inspire greater partisan divisions as she sides with Republicans on issues like trade, the role of lobbyists in politics and national security. At the same time, he elevated McCain, fresh off victory in Florida's crucial primary, as the likely Republican nominee. "Democrats will win in November and build a majority in Congress not by nominating a candidate who will unite the other party against us, but by choosing one who can unite this country around a movement for change," Obama said, speaking as rival John Edwards was pulling out of the race in New Orleans, leaving a Clinton-Obama fight for the Democratic nomination. | ||||
