| It's eerie how much I've agreed with your political analysis of the 08 campaign. Every time I read your posts I'm thinking "damn, he beat me to it."

As far as the commercials, Paul is utilizing the radio technique that got Reagan elected. He has recently stepped up his advertising campaign, especially in the states that aren't being visited by other candidates. But again, it's all moot till Tuesday... Haven't seen any other candidates commercials from the Right up here in Northern California, but there sure have been a ton of Obama commercials. Fed Up | ||||

But I view Huckabee as the chicken or the egg.....which came out first for him, the Evangelicals backing him or the media? Despite what you say, the media did in fact back him. As far as the Evangelicals go....Hunter was just as good an Evangelical as Huckabee if you looked at his website, and his name was the only one I heard mentioned when I attended the Coral Ridge, Reclaiming America for Christ conference last year. Christians at that time were confused as to whom to vote for. Heck, Ann Coulter dropped the f bomb (faggot) during her speech there three times, the day after she dropped it about Edwards, which had the audience shaking their heads, lol....so they didn't make a good decision by inviting her as a speaker, as outspoken as she is and they weren't too sure on which candidate represented their views the best. Robertson came out for Giuliani and the Evangelicals still didn't represent support for anyone. So this leads me to believe he was annointed by the media first. And it is the media, not the Evangelicals, that is not supporting him now. They're pulling a Ron Paul on him IMO. And I agree with your "crazy" characterization of many Christians today.
