Honestly, just never mind what I said. I have better things to do.

And go ahead, call it a victory if that's what you'd like.

Thanks for bringing socialism to the US even faster.

Thank yourself.

And if you really think there is that much of a difference between McCain and Romney, you're delusional.

Here's my favorite:

Romney Campaign Criticizes Calls - The Caucus - Politics - New York Times Blog

The Romney campaign has been doing automated calls to voters impugning Mr. McCain’s vote against the Medicare prescription drug benefit

So, McCain took a conservative position and voted against Medicare drug benefits, and Romney criticizes him for it and calls himself conservative.

Are you fucking kidding me?

You're actually making a little more sense now Donkey...

As far as the above quote, you're on the right track...but not just "any" gold standard, one that is defined by "weights and measures;" See: Weekly Article: Open Letter to Congress

If government is kept in check...you know, that checks and balances part that is continually ignored, then our government wouldn't be allowed to get away with what they do. See: Constitutional Topic: Checks and Balances - The U.S. Constitution Online - USConstitution.net

As far as the Constitution not being perfect, that's why the Founding Fathers demanded it include a Bill of Rights...

Socialism/Fascism is around the corner, but I'm sorry read this bill.

GovTrack: H.R. 1955: Text of Legislation

It's been passed... This has really been passed.

Look how many times they use violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence in this bill.

SEC. 899C. NATIONAL COMMISSION ON THE PREVENTION OF VIOLENT RADICALIZATION AND IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE.
  • `(a) Establishment- There is established within the legislative branch of the Government the National Commission on the Prevention of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism.
`(b) Purpose- The purposes of the Commission are the following:
    • `(1) Examine and report upon the facts and causes of violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence in the United States, including United States connections to non-United States persons and networks, violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence in prison, individual or `lone wolf' violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence, and other faces of the phenomena of violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence that the Commission considers important.

Basically we are slowly going to lose every right our forefathers fought for... DO YOU REALLY THIS GEORGE WASHINGTON, THOMAS JEFFERSON, ABRAHAM LINCOLN OR JOHN F. KENNEDY would agree with these bills that violate our civil rights?!

We have a Patriot Act that can prosecute people without given a trial by jury. I really can't fathom those ideals, I mean shit the internet is run amok with faceless users, but at least we're allowed the right to say whatever the hell we please.

I don't know, it's going to be so strange to see the world 30 years from now. Really strange.

I'm reading through this bill right now... holy shit.

This creates a commission of 10 people, appointed for the life of the commission... and of course the rest of what it does...

But it's ok, because Americans 'want' it.

You sure have posted a lot of evidence supporting your view that there is stark contrast between McCain and Romney, and that Romney isn't a liberal.

I guess it's ok to require that people buy health insurance; it's not technically a tax since you are required to pay a private company, right?

Oh, so forcing people to buy it is different from forcing people to pay taxes, and then buying it.

Would you rather a drivers tax, or state-mandated drivers insurance?

Nice quip, though just as retarded and ignorant as the comic you posted.

First though if you had put even an once of effort, not that you would even do that because he's not Ron Paul, you'd notice that it still calls for private care by making it cheaper by eliminating the regulation and letting the free market take over. Oh shit I said free market.

And yet still it would be private health care, meaning I have choice of insurers and choice of treatment without all the extra garbage seen in state healthcare systems in Europe.

And I'm paying for my healthcare as good or as bad as I want it. I'm not paying for you're healthcare because you're to poor to stupid to buy it.

Even a retard should be able to figure it out.

Also since you've put zero time or effort in to understanding the facts, in the MASS plan every effort was to be made to get those able to be on medicare to enroll in it, use the system that is ready there instead of just making it bigger and more complicated.

It's a really free market when consumers are forced to buy it by the government

And in case you don't understand how insurance companies work, you ARE paying for everyone else's healthcare that is insured by that company

Yeah I guess my car insurance mandatory by the state government in CA isn't affected by the rules of the free market either. Yeah there is no competition or anything at all.

And if you're not paying also, you're not getting shit. I'm not helping anyone with a free ride or am I paying more than anyone else because someone else can't pay as much.

You would think you'd a little smarter about this.

If car insurance were not mandatory, car insurance rates would be significantly lower than they are.

Everyone is just dying to de-mandate car insurance
