Yeah, I'm sure that's her rational (if true). A very astute analysis.

She runs around every debate saying she feels every American is "deserving" of health care, implying Obama doesn't because of their different views towards health care. Yet here she is...

She just put in $5million, that can't pay for health care? She's a hypocrite.

That's gotta be the most ridiculous reasoning I've seen in awhile used to attack Hillary

Are you serious? She's running her campaign on the notion that every American is deserving of health care and big businesses are greedy for not supplying it. Yet here she is with $5 million in her campaign and she won't provide it for her own employees. You don't think that's hypocritical?

She clearly did this to secure their votes, because if she gets elected, they'll get healthcare again.

Well, to begin with a campaign is different than a normal business. The rest of the reasoning falls apart after that.

But, believing people deserve health care and being unable to afford it doesn't mean it's a hypocritical stance at all.

Are you kidding? These are people that are sacrificing their personal lives for her. She should be at least taking care of them. She obviously has plenty of money.

Yes, but it does highlight why universal healthcare won't work

I don't disagree, I think she should be. But if she can't afford it, it doesn't make her position believing people deserve it less valid or somehow hypocritical.. under her plan I'm sure it'd be a non issue.

Not really (depending on the specifics of the plan), if anything it shows why the current system sucks (too expensive, and we get worse quality health care than nations which pay less through a nationalized industry)

There have been studies done which prove Americans pay more and get less than elsewhere in the world

I challenge this. We might pay more, I'm not challenging that part, but our quality is fantastic.

If you and I were paying for it, she wouldn't have to worry about providing it!

I think it is interesting, didn't Obama rake in like $30mil last month ALONE?

I have heard and seen his stupid ad's starting this week on TV and the radio non-stop.

just an objectivity drop here: no where is being reported that HRC staffers who stopped being paid have had any trouble with their healthcare

I thought this was a good quote from another candidates thread and could be used with Hillary's situation as well.
