Obama beat her in money a long time ago

Support wise, she got 50%+ of the popular vote on 2/5, it's been a long time since Hillary went over 50% in a poll, less supporters? Not yet

I don't get what point you are making except that you have new found respect for Michael Moore's integrity and morals now that he won't support someone you hate

I don't get the "even" comment, people like MM are not supporting her because she's too moderate

Obama is the liberal wanting to raise taxes on social security for only the wealthy (who would recieve no benefits from it), giving drivers licenses to illegal immigrants, and proposing a universal healthcare that conservatives can't support because they find it fiscally irresponsible, all the problems of Medicare will re-surface, it will likely be like having Medicare for everyone

You should ask Hillary to hire you to make ads for her

Hope you like working for free, though

My point is that this phony Obama love shown by right wingers on this site is so ridiculous, either they are ignorant on the candidates positions, they have really been closet liberals, or they are simply lying and have been planning on voting for McCain/not at all for quite some time

I doubt you were referring to me, but just in case, let me make it clear - I loathe basically everyone who currently has a chance of winning to the point that they are going to force me to write someone else in because I really feel that there won't be a significant difference no matter who wins.

I might even get the bonus of creating a placeholder for a real small government conservative next time around if the dems win it.

No, I was not talking about you

But others on the site who talk about how they'd "consider" voting for Obama, or outright say they would vote for Obama...are one of the categories I listed

You know, if I can find positive things that could happen if McCain wins, you should try...at least try, to find positive things that could happen if a Democrat wins...our country actually might get better...it is possible...no reason to sink into depression for 4 years

Your party believes that I owe people who choose not to produce, something, because I choose to produce more. You would effectively enslave me to produce for those people.

That's a pretty depressing thought, to me.

Your choice wants to have government nurses come into my home and teach me how to parent.

That's a pretty depressing thought, to me.

Your party has consistently fought against my right to homeschool, preferring that I put my daughter in a public school system that will indoctrinate her to your political beliefs.

That, perhaps not surprisingly, given the theme of this post, is a pretty depressing thought to me.

I could go on... but it's too depressing.

No, I really don't think I'm going to be happy either way.

From hillary's website

Early Childhood Education

Hillary knows that parents are our children's first teachers, and the early years have a tremendous impact on their lives. That is why she will invest heavily in proven strategies to get all children ready for school, including:

* Nurse home visitation programs to help new parents develop parenting skills.
* Quality child care and Head Start.
* Pre-kindergarten for all four-year olds.
That covers the nurse in the home thing.

The first comment about enslaving me to take care of those who choose not to produce is a basic tenet of the democrat party. You practice wealth redistribution from the rich to the poor. I'm surprised that you would even argue that one (maybe you didn't mean to).

The comment about homeschooling... It's more difficult to substantiate, but if you look at the totality of the circumstances here, it's pretty clear that she's not for it when she thinks it takes a village to raise a child.

Saying "it takes a village" is basic human psychology and anthropology...we're a community-based species and always have been...

Yes, a man can live alone on an island like Cast Away, I get it...that doesn't mean it's healthy, you should have at least a partner

Same thing, a child being raised should be exposed to some larger community besides the one parent he needs to give him basic nutrition

Also, nurse visitations programs does not mean mandatory visits...so I don't know what you mean on that

On "wealth re-distribution" it's written into the constitution via income tax

And you really over-estimate yourself if you think you earn every dime you make...as if the government has never helped you or the US economy

Have you had kids yet? There are already so many mandatory things, I have a really hard time believing this isn't a mandatory thing as well.

Also, wealth redistribution is not written into the constitution at all. Taxing to provide for the common defense and other such CONSTITUTIONAL responsibilities of the federal government is not something I am complaining about.
