Every now and then people wisen up

People often start out liberal, and then turn more conservative with age and non-liberal education.

If you look at people in the 16-25 age group the vast majority of them are liberals. As they get older and they often change to a point where it balances out.

I actually grew up as a staunch conservative, I remember at like 12 waiting for the Rush Limbaugh TV show to come on...like it was the 4th of July

As I grew up, I began to re-examine my ideology, and in the latter years of high school I just went issue by issue and realized it was all BS, that yeah the MSM tilted left at that time, but they sure did a piss-poor job of explaining anything liberal

Keystones of my conservative views fell one after another...all lies

Hiring quotas for blacks
Unqualified blacks were taking the jobs of qualified whites
The basis for the world's morality was founded in the bible
We waste tax dollars by putting them away for life instead of executing them
People get rich soley based on their merit
Ozone depletion is a liberal myth
Evolution is anti-christian and "just a theory"
Liberalism and Socialism are pretty much the same thing
"Welfare Queen"
People on welfare are mostly black teenager crack-addicted mothers who stay on for almost all their life and have kids all the time just to get more welfare money

But those first two were correct. Hell even my job admits they activily seak to hire minorities and women. They will give you a larger bonus if you recommend a woman for a driving position. If two candidates are equally qualified, the woman will get hired.

to be fair, if two candidates are equally qualified, the one that has a family member working here will get hired.

They are generally in favor of strong political rights/freedoms, government intervention in the economy & sticking up for the little guy that liberls champion.

my university is Catholic and very conservative/pro-Bush.
