Now, at least to me, it appears the Republicans are heading towards the edge of the cliff at 150mph. I just can't bring myself to vote for Democrats. The only thing I like about them is the personal freedoms that they advocate, but hate that they don't advocate personal responsiblity along with it. I hope Republicans lose Congress so that we have gridlock, but I don't want Democrats having so much power that they can propagate their plans either. I just want inaction.

| With Bush at the helm there's going to be gridlock even if they win back Congress, the benefit is that they'll be able to begin investigations into Bush's illegal activities.. and hopefully bring Congress back to being a counterbalance against the President's kingly "Congressional intent? What's that, I've only heard of signing statements " bullshit that's been going on.. which is good for everyone, conservative and liberal alike.Since you consider yourself a Libertarian I'm really suprised you'd prefer not to vote rather than help bring back some amount of balance in government for the next 2 years when we have another Presidential election. | ||||

You can be voting for some balance in Washington, some accountability for the President by voting for the Democrats, while at the same time voting against the policies that Republicans have in place that have completely abandoned conservatism.

| Bottom line is one of those two people is going to be elected though, if there's no third party on the ballot, voting for the person who's going to most adequately represent your ideals is a better solution when faced with 2 more years of the same stuff we've seen for the last 6. | ||||

| FOCA is the only "pro-abortion" law i've ever heard of, and it failed, it never passed and it was sponsored by several Republicans | ||||
