I get these in the mail every now and then, college classes based on many (from say 8 all the way up to 85) 30 minute lectures on DVD or CD. Some of the topics seem great, and the professors involved seem to have excellent credentials. From like 15 bucks ...

| Any experience with "The Great Courses" - college classes via DVD/CD? I get these in the mail every now and then, college classes based on many (from say 8 all the way up to 85) 30 minute lectures on DVD or CD. Some of the topics seem great, and the professors involved seem to have excellent credentials. From like 15 bucks up to 200 in the catalog I just recieved. Any experience with these? I was thinking about asking for one of the smaller ones as a birthday gift. Any chance they are on torrents etc? or can I not talk about that?  | ||||
