Interesting to see it hosted with Univision and having Hispanic questioners. Perfect timing for such a debate to be hosted on CNN for the Clinton campaign. This could work out well in her favor.

Hillary got booed over the plagiarism and the remotes showed the audience was not amused with her. Obama manages to deflect the attacks on him and they usually end up hurting Hillary worse.

Horrible debate. Moderators didn't do their job at all.

christ, all it was was more promises of spending, billions for "eradicating poverty world wide"? Mandated Universal Health Care?

god.

I do think Barack, at least in my opinion, won the debate on healthcare. Forcing people to buy it like car insurance, then fining people if they don't, regardless of how much it costs, is not a solution for our healthcare problem. "My plan covers everyone". Bull fucking shit it does. Your plan forces me to buy coverage. Her plan doesn't do shit but put those who can't afford it in an even worse position.

The last statement by Hillary will give her some lift...but there still more than a week left so it could go away if she doesn't keep that theme up

My understanding is that it's subsidized for everyone who isn't able to afford it.

And, Obama's plan really isn't better because there's financial instability built into it. By allowing people to opt in whenever they feel like it, it means they don't have to pay into the system until something bad happens, and then get to take advantage of everyone else who has.

I believe he's said he'll fine them or make them pay 'back premiums' or whatever, so I don't think your point really is just a criticism of Hillary's plan.

i like the idea of making it affordable, but i do not like the idea of forcing people to buy the coverage.

Sure, making it affordable is great. But if you're going to have a government run system where it's affordable but people aren't forced to opt in, it's like Hillary said in her analogy about Social Security..

If you don't have everyone in the system, then costs are going to be higher than they would be normally because everyone will be forced to pay for those who don't opt into the system until they get sick.

Except she plagiarized it from my boy John Edwards. It was a great line though when I heard him say it the first time.

All I heard was that Hillary tried to slam Obama and he pulled the "Can't we all just get along?" card and won with that flower child moment.

If any real debate about substance happened let me know.....

Immigrant-hating and torture one-upsmanship does not exactly qualify as substance, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about.

About the childish immaturity of so many liberal Democrats these days just for a start. How can anybody debate issues when we can't even approach honesty about them I wonder?
