when i was in highschool i had the honor of being chosen to participate in Boys State.
it was then when i realized how terrible politics was, even on levels where it didnt matter. in real life, where real things were at stake, it was bound to be much worse.

And speaking of dream jobs Scrum, how is the litigation going with your former employer?

It's been done for a while.

The magistrate came down hard on me and pretty much forced me into taking the settlement. My lawyer wasn't worth 1/4 of what he ended up getting paid.
I would have rather gone to trial and aired out their dirty laundry, but oh well. I got some cash that was spent on bills and put that place behind me.

Now i'm dreading my son going to school. I'll have to get a real job and my skills aren't exactly in demand. I'm thinking of standing out on the tollway entrance ramp with a sign that says "Will joust for food".

Nobody grows up thinking "I want to work for Immigration!", but my understanding is they are either presently hiring or planning to begin hiring large groups of people. Check usajobs . com.

Government work isn't going to make you rich, but you won't work hard and the benefits are about as good as it gets.

Well that sucks. Sorry to hear that. You're a pretty bright guy. I can't imagine you having trouble finding a decent job.
