When it comes to Reducing Government Corruption, Obama has the advantage. The Democrat is trusted more by 43% of voters while 34% prefer McCain. Rasmussen Reports™: The most comprehensive public opinion coverage ever provided for a mid-term election. __________________________________________________ ____ I must say this is a surprise! Perhaps I have been a victim of the constant media drumbeat of how poor Republicans are doing on any issue, and on the economy and even National Security in particular. How the Bush legacy will sink any GOP candidate like a stone in 2008. Did I begin to fall for it before seeing numbers like these?

| thats cause the media is so liberal it makes it seem like the country would completely vote demo in this election. i think once it gets closer to it though, and the polls come out, the same pesky rural fuckers that put bush back in office in '04 are gonna come out in force for McCain. not that I have a problem with that this time around.....

| It doesn't really matter, especially since we're not out of primary season yet. Those numbers will improve when Hillary voters move behind Obama. Additionally, how do you rectify that with national poll numbers that still have McCain trailing by a wide margin to Obama? | ||||

| Not to be a douche, but Bobby Kennedy would have MASSACRED Nixon in the general election, so I don't really see how that election cycle gives anyone cause to celebrate. Let's step back here for a second, though, and think about what this thread is saying: Americans trust Republicans more on matters of foreign policy, and are pretty much split on the economy. Wow....this is such new and vital information. These shocking trends have clearly never been evidenced in the past | ||||
