| Irony: See Florida Does anyone else see the Irony in the situation in Florida? Florida moved it's primary up so that it would vote earlier. They did this to be more relevant in the whole process, to have more say... In so doing, they have made themselves almost totally irrelevant because thier delegates now do not count at all... and because this is a close race if they had kept thier primary where it was, we would all be focusing on Florida now. Florida sucks at elections. | ||||

| Florida was not alone. A number of States moved up. We are having the longest primary battle ever. Look who is laughing now? Pennsylvania!

| Michigan did the same thing. HIllary's been talking of redo's in Michigan and Florida to let them count...but I doubt Obama would agree to that. Governor here is the stupidass Canadian Jennifer Granholm. | ||||

| I wouldn't be against a redo simply because I don't like the idea of people not having a vote in the primaries. (Or at least one that counts) That said, I also dislike the idea of changing the rules after an election is already held. Seems to me, once the primaries start the rules shouldn't change because that opens the door to whoever is in power manipulating them to the benefit of whichever candidate they support. That all said, if both Hillary and Obama agree to it and can work out something they both can live with, that would be a big win at the end of the day. Another draw back is how much it would cost to do a re-election. Wasted money that should be spent supporting whoever the nominee ends up being. | ||||

| As I understand it the Florida Legislature would need to pass a special election law. The Democrat Party and both candidates would need to agree with all the rules and terms of that legislation. Then it all needs to be organized and paid for. Then you need to motivate the voters and volunteers to do this all over again. A total mess and somebody will be mad no matter what. Time to Lawyer up! | ||||
