she doesn't say white woman, she thinks the media is going off about racism but not saying a word about sexism...and if you look at the news thats exactly the case

you really don't think america is sexist? we've gone beyond that?

Hillary has gotten away with pulling the feminist card a few times this campaign. She's been stopped in her tracks for pulling the race card. Obama isn't the one making this campaign about race or gender. It's hard to tell how the media would be covering this primary if the Hillary campaign didn't keep pulling the race card. So it's questionable. I think there's still sexism in America the same as there's still racism. They each have their own handicaps. Obama comes off as the black "Muslim", partly due to some dishonest campaigning of the Hillary campaign bringing up the madrassa stuff to the media over and over again. Hillary's handicap is that she is a woman.

At the start of this campaign whose shoes would you have rather been in?
1. A White Woman named Clinton
or
2. A black man portrayed as a Muslim with the middle name Hussein

I would have chosen number 1 without a doubt. Hillary's campaign has brought about all the negatives. Keep in mind, Democrats have recently run racist campaigns against Republicans (Steele) and gotten away with it. It doesn't work against another Democrat though. And Obama/the media aren't really pulling the Feminist card. Hell when Rush mentioned the idea of an old lady being in the White House the media went ape shit. Hillary's gender is very much protected. Obama is going after it and the media is keeping the wolves at bay.

The media has mostly allowed Hillary to pull the feminist card, but they're protecting her from the outside. This is why I don't think Ferraro's statement is very valid. The only time the media has lashed out on race/gender issues against either candidate is when Hillary has pulled the race card against Obama... and quite frankly rightly so. If Obama tried to pull the gender card, I'm quite certain they'd nail him for it too. Imagine if Obama's campaign said Hillary is only as far as she is now because she's a "white woman."

in regards to russert and blitzer:

RUSSERT: The only one who will not say "I made a mistake," because she is afraid that if she acknowledges a mistake, it will show a lack of surefootedness in national security and foreign policy, and, for a woman candidate, that can be a real detriment.

its a fairly wide discussed problem:
Tom Watson: The Sexist Media Lynching of Hillary Clinton

only fox news (ofcourse) actually brought up real muslim charges...other news outlets have been silent on his race...but if hillary is made, she's being a bitch...if she's talking loud, she's being shrill...if she's laughing, she's faking it...it's a whole campaign about gender stereotypes that are constantly applied to Clinton

Yet is anyone making stereotypical black comments towards Obama? No, but you get called a racist if you point out that the white and latino vote broke HEAVILY against Obama in LA...and a candidate needs the white vote to win...they are the majority after all

And now for something not completely different:

Ferraro's Remarks About Obama Decried

By ANN SANNER – 1 hour ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton said Tuesday she disagrees with Geraldine Ferraro, one of her fundraisers and the 1984 vice presidential candidate, for suggesting that Barack Obama only achieved his status in the presidential race because he's black. In a brief interview with The Associated Press, Clinton was questioned about Ferraro's remarks.

The Obama campaign has called on the New York senator to denounce them.
Ferraro told the Daily Breeze of Torrance, Calif.: "If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."

The newspaper published the interview last Friday.

Clinton said, "I do not agree with that," and later added, "It's regrettable that any of our supporters — on both sides, because we both have this experience — say things that kind of veer off into the personal."

"We ought to keep this on the issues. there are differences between us" on approaches to health care, energy, experience.

Ferraro is a former New York congresswoman and was Walter Mondale's running mate when he was the Democratic presidential nominee in 1984. She has endorsed Clinton and raised money for her campaign.

Obama called Ferraro's comments "patently absurd."

"I don't think Geraldine Ferraro's comments have any place in our politics or in the Democratic Party. They are divisive. I think anybody who understands the history of this country knows they are patently absurd," he told the Allentown Morning Call. "And I would expect that the same way those comments don't have a place in my campaign they shouldn't have a place in Senator Clinton's either."

Well I have to say, since no one commented on the 1st page and last comment of that page of my synopsis of this Socialist maniac named Hillary Clinton, I'll say this. Is America Sexist? No! Ask any guy, they say, "I love women." Should all women make choices in power, "No." neither should men.

She's a nut-case, she wants to tell you what to watch, don't challenge the country, don't challenge the President and keep your thoughts to yourself. She comes straight out of a meddling Socialist tribe, Americans don't want that bullshit. We're perfectly happy with our free speech. I'm just dumb-founded by her supporters sometimes, because she's clearly Anti-Human Rights. Go back to the first page and read Nationalization vs. Human Rights, she says that the United States bares over all human rights?! THAT'S A DICTATOR, gentlemen! A DICTATOR! I rather have McCain's old ass, because at least he'll die before 2012... Or if he doesn't, he's too old to be re-elected.

Implying she is a dictator is a bit of a stretch - but she is a megalomaniac who values power over everything else.

I'm not saying she is a dictator but her rhetoric speaks of it. One of her biggest things is to stop GTA: San Andreas, but yet she won't go out against War-fare games that depict the Iraq War.

She's a nut-case, plus the things she says about police states and all that. She speaks from a true socialist mind and that's on her WIKIPEDIA PAGE! I also have a problem how she blasts Congress for not having more respect for the President? That's funny, why should they respect a President who slept with an intern and stuck cigars in her vagina in the OVAL OFFICE!

So if anyone should be talking about lack of respect, it should be Congress and the Clinton's Clan mockery of the White House and this democratic campaign.
