He absolutely should have resigned. My stance has not changed at all. I think if politicians break the law they need to leave office. Unlike you who only think Republicans that break the law should leave office. Democrats should only follow the laws you agree with.

the laws on prostitution are permanent, he had no role in them...that law dealt with specific situations and specific fines...even if he had blocked them it would have meant nothing to his current problems

Why do we care so much about this crap? As long as he is good at his job, his private life is of no concern. We should butt the hell out.
