| Calling some of them neo-nazi's directly is the new spring fad though In all seriousness, I really hope Hillary recognizes that her quest for the Presidency is less important than a Democrat actually winning in the fall This country can't afford another 4 years of Bush, and that's what we get with McCain-Rove and 100 more years of Iraq. | ||||

This is an interesting letter that went out to Democrats mentioning her scandals and how they make her weak.

| McCain's scandal and corruption cost the US taxpayer $3.4 billion, but nice gossip email you got there...it doesn't even take the first section to hit "error, completely wrong" The canadian official knows for sure he talked to an Obama figure...and the Obama figure admits he was talking to him...there was no confusion on what campaign or who was talking to whom... | ||||

| And? I was replying to your post that said people would stay home, me voting for someone else is not the same thing. Those who stay home just to spite Obama are stupid, especially if they don't like McCain. And the democrat ones who do it, are even dumber. You forget, I am not a democrat, I think your party is just as bad the republicans. It just so happens that the best candidate of the three is a democrat but if its Hill, I rather go with the moderate republican that can reach across the aisle over the person who is polarizing and will have the opposition party oppose her every move just to make her look bad. | ||||

| You realize they'll do the same thing with Obama? And the Democrats will block anything McCain tries...but he really doesn't have much of an agenda except try to act like it's Bush's 3rd term so there isn't much to block | ||||

When I look at the person, I come to realize that politics in Washington is as much about personal relationships and respect with your fellow politicians as much as its about ideology and lobbyists. Yes in the end ideology and lobbyists win but a candidate that posses the qualities of a LEADER (in part with what I mentioned above) will get A LOT more done then a person than a person who views the opposition party as the enemy and vows to "fight THEM" at every turn. Thor, this is a republic, not a dictatorship. I want this COUNTRY to do well, I can care less for a particular party...Hillary's style and perception (whether fair or not) is not suited for a well functioning republic.

| I don't need generalizations or bias to say John McCain will *try to* destroy America, I just need to listen to his campaign speeches Iraq whatever it takes, who cares if it destroys our military, attack Iran and heck maybe Syria and leave us totally defenseless if there is trouble in Pakistan or North Korea At home, his economic policies are basically "ummm...let the free market decide if its poor people, and if its the rich i support the fed's bailout" Really, he has not given one indication how his presidency will be one iota different from George Bush if he were to have a third term Last edited by Thorgrim; 04-06-2008 at 04:40 PM. | ||||

| I'd like it if all the people who are so sure global warming doesn't need to be addressed right now registered their name with the government, and if then our planet suffers intensely because of causes that the ENTIRE scientific field (even former deniers) sees as a fact of global warming...they lose their right to vote | ||||

Global Warming is the new scare tactic, saving the Earth is sexy, I don't blame anyone, I recycle. This is just the new Y2K, and other garbage they throw at you to get an agenda across. It has shit all with saving the planet, it's a way to make money.
