The only bad thing is that my bank account is now officially raped. I got the certified check for the down payment and I cried when I left the bank.

Very cool! I can't wait until we move. My wife and I have been in the same house for 17 years. We bought it new then and have outgrown it now that we have 2 kids.

The closing process is now complete. We moved some boxes earlier, and now we're back packing up more under crappy rain. Hopefully I can load up our vehicles tonight

Not bad.

You would pay twice that in mosts parts of Southern California, the Beach Cities anyway, and for a small plot of land. Looks like you could park a Tour Bus in that Driveway!

Yeah, the driveway is really nice. Will be nice for get togethers.

I've always liked the garages that you pull into from the side so the looking straight at the house doesn't show the garage door.

It looks curvy because it was the selling realtor who took these pics and she did it with fisheye lenses or panoramic or something.

Yesterday we had our new washer, dryer, and fridge delivered. Also, internet, TV, and phone were turned on. Water, gas, and power were turned on Friday. The last utility to get turned on is the security system coming this next weekend.

We've also already moved a LOT of stuff. We're moving more stuff today, then giving my wife's grandparents back their van which we borrowed

I think we'll be in good shape when the movers come on Friday.
