| DailyKos Self Destructs Apparently many users over at DailyKos are tired of all the users who are hostile towards Hillary Clinton and don't feel they are getting fair treatment on the site. So they've decided to boycott DailyKos and moved to a similar blogging site called MyDD which tends to be pro-Hillary. Hillary Clinton has for a very long time been despised by the DailyKos crowd and the blogging community, mainly because of her long-standing support of the war in Iraq. New ammunition has been given to the DailyKos community after they've learned Hillary is willing to destroy their cherished party from within if it means she can steal the nomination. Obviously this brings about a lot of anger and hate for the typical DailyKos user. As a result the community by and large has not been supportive or even kind to the differing and minority opinions towards Hillary Clinton. So essentially this boycott is among Hillary supporters who no longer wish to support the Kos community. They intend to pull out leaving the site one-sided towards Obama. The boycott essentially involves never going back to the site for any reason so they will not contribute to ad revenues for the site. Blogtalk: Pro-Clinton Bloggers Boycott Kos - The Caucus - Politics - New York Times Blog I have to agree with a statement made by a blogger quoted in this article.

| MyDD and DailyKos were very often visisted by both the active users, especially Hillary supporters Neither site is having a problem with ad revenue, and indeed both have expanded their staff for the election with increased ad revenue A lot of the constant attacks on Hillary that happen here happen on DailyKos, it's funny I thought you'd be celebrating considering a lot their diaries are pretty much cut and paste what pretty much everyone who doesn't like hillary here writes | ||||

| I don't think too highly of the DailyKos. But I always get a good chuckle when I see Hotair or FoxNews using political attacks that originated on the DailyKos. I noticed with the Ron Paul campaign (mainly because that's the campaign I followed most closely), and I'm noticing it with the Clinton campaign. | ||||

| I have no sorrow, nor will I rejoice over this story. I really don't care about what happens to DailyKos whether they go pro-Hillary or pro-Obama. However, what I do find very interesting and ironic is how the most famous, popular, and active liberal blog in the world has had a massive loss in members due to an inherent intolerance of political views. | ||||

| This election was handed to them on a silver platter - an economy getting worse under the watch of an unpopular opposition party President, a war that is going sideways in Iraq for some time now and increasing oil prices. What more do the Democrats want? But instead of choosing between two candidates who's differences are only minor, they rather have the candidate they want now at all costs and to hell with the general election! What a strategic blunder. And it is Hillary's fault - she even admitted having a "kitchen sink" strategy to smear Obama. She talks about the principals of democracy and unity but she doesn't practice it. She smears her own party candidate (if you can't unify your own party how can you unify the nation?) for her own gain and she will willingly skirt the democratic process by trying to win via super delegates - what kind of leader is that in republic?

| The 2004 election was also supposedly "handed to the democrats on a silver platter" in Feb of 2004 I think every Dem candidate was beating Bush in the polls, every single one People didn't care who the democrat was, just as long as the politician's name wasn't Bush Now, I saw polls with Biden, Dodd, Richardson, Edwards, etc all losing to McCain/Rudy...some even came close to Romney A significant chunk of people are stupid enough to think McCain is a moderate who happens to be a Republican, even though to this day he is saying how conservative he is, and I'm not going to get into all the right-wing things he did this campaign+past 8 years And let's be honest, a woman or a black candidate are both gambles per se If it wasn't someone as battle hardened as Hillary, they'd never pass the "toughness" test, but if they are veterans, they are mocked as too partisan If it wasn't someone the black community itself said "Is he really black?" Obama would have been marginalized as a black candidate by now, and with all that pastor stuff, he might still yet America is racist and sexist, and Democrats know it, and they really want to win so they're trying to play this out longer to see who can win the gamble If Hillary had dropped out, the pastor story would have been 10x bigger, and half the democrats would have went "oh great, now we're fucked...we're stuck with a guy and this story is going to play on and on as there is nothing else political going on..." | ||||

| Filegate, Vince Foster, Healthcare, she was even drug into White Water and many of the "Bill" scandals, the only one she was completely spared of were the cheating ones, and even then she was labeled as some sort of evil woman for forgiving her husband Strangely enough there is no fierce criticism for Larry Craig's wife or David Vitter's wife to divorce them...even though they are both forced to show up during official functions while everyone in the room knows they are women who were cheated on... | ||||

| Did anyone really doubt she would do whatever it takes to become President? I mean really, people think she is running to lead, but she is running to BE the President. She doesn't care about people, she wants to be the leader of the most powerful country in history. No if ands or butts. If you think otherwise, well, | ||||

Primaries are very heated for Democrats...Edwards was actually the first choice for them, Obama was recieving very low support at several key points even on Dkos, however things changed, arguments hardened and after a year of debate, people are sick of talking about "Obama versus Clinton" and Obama fans have developed a supermajority, many of the Clinton supporters simply don't post on the issue I've found the whole thing more amusing than anything, for the past several months I've seen "indepedents" or "reform party" people here basically cut and paste diaries about Obama/Hillary on here from the most left-wing posters on DailyKos | ||||

| It just proves how stupid people are that they debate the money issue. How many millions were lost on every other candidate that ran? Yet, we don't see that as a "waste" for them. Just another painfully childish fallacy that has nothing to do with the issue. | ||||
