| I dunno... looking at the numbers, some of the ones that have McCain winning have him winning by a relatively large margin (like, 8%). That seems unrealistic considering how close the rest are. And with one of the 6 advantages being that much, his overall is like .8% and 1%? Although, I will say I expect it to get better and better for McCain the longer the Dems drag out this whole "choosing a candidate" thing. He's basically unopposed at this point. | ||||

| I think all of this polling data will show a sharp shift once a Democratic candidate has been selected. | ||||

| I think we will probably have a candidate before the end of May. Even if it went till August, 3 months is actually a long time if the candidates campaign constantly. The democrat will also have the benefit of already having campaigned heavily in every state, where McCain didn't have to. | ||||

| What the polls have shown is that the independents who are leaving Obama are going to McCain and not Clinton! This is not good news for either Democrat. Another problem is that Hillary can now make the claim to Super Delegates that she is the better candidate to beat McCain now that Obama's General Election numbers are falling. He needs to reverse this trend before the convention.

| Thats because he gets to sit out of the discourse. People are tired of seeing Clinton and Obama fight it out. Onca McCain gets back into it and you see Obama(just my prediction) standing up there debating with McCain, it will shift fast. | ||||

| Old experienced man with military experience faces a young charisamatic change advocate who isn't a stickler on specifics It played very well for us in 1992, it'll only play better this time...for same reason...neither Bush I nor McCain have any "big plan" for america, or real ideas...infact Obama has more detailed plans that hit it off with the American People than Bill Clinton ever did | ||||

| I still say none of this matters. Not until we have a clear democratic candidate. I just don't see this country electing another republican, not even McCain. As soon as the dems turn thier focus to the presidential race, it will turn into a contest between "change" and " 100 more years in Iraq". That will be what we hear from this campaign and it will be very effective. People don't want more of what we had for the past 8 years. Every single poll will overwhelmingly tell you that. The opinion polls you see out now reflect peoples fatigue with the democratic party's struggle to choose thier candidate. Once one is chosen you will see a big difference. So far no one is attacking McCain. No one is campagning against him. All he has to do is sit there and smile. Of course he will have better polling numbers. Mark my words | ||||
