Better you just go to the page so I don't have to make the legend for you, although you can probably figure out the red=McCain, blue=Obama, and the darker the color the more it leans that way

What do you see as changing between now and say...October?

I see, in the polls, Obama losing ND, -3
But he will gain NJ almost certainly, I think that's just spiteful Clinton voters +15
Michigan is a a near sure thing, the Detroit vote will be huge once he's nominated, +17
Colorado hasn't shown any negative reaction to Wright's videos...and that state does seem to like him and want to go blue, so +9
New Hampshire same, +4
PA should be a tie, I can't imagine McCain keeping a large lead all summer after Obama went strong in the state these next few weeks and then later in the general will have a campaign already in place, -21 McCain
Nevada and Wisconsin are tossups, -5 Obama - 10 McCain

So, that means he has to win all the tossups i just mentioned, or loss them all, and win Ohio

Either way, no electoral college landslide...even giving him some favorable numbers, he ends up with 298...southern states are simply GONE for him, including VA...he is losing by 11+ points right now and it seems pretty firm...they are part of the race chasm

Michigan doesn't deserve special treatment, they broke the rules. They just needed to wait. If people are going to blame the DNC for this mess, they first need to go after the Michigan Democratic Party and ask why they moved themselves up. Those are the people responsible for the mess they are in.

I agree but the average person does not see the difference between the state and national party. They will remeber that their vote did not count.

If uneducated people were not allowed to vote the turnout would be a bit small don't you think?
As far as things changing for the general election, I think Michigan could go Republican for the first time in a while if the DNC makes good on it's promise not to seat any delagates at the convention. This is going to have more impact than many people seem willing to admit.
Voters, especially pissed off voters don't always do as they are told.
