Weapons

How many firearms do you own?

If you do own, what do you own?

The point of the poll was not to figure out who does not own. I am going someplace with this. I am not attempting to alienate those who do not own.

Does it help if I know who qualifies as an armory? I know where to go when shit happens!

For all intents and purposes, we will ignore the actual definition of an armory, and say more than twelve. And from your post, I assume that you served or are serving. Cool, good to have a brother in here.

Once there is enough data to continue, I will. I am not trying to decieve anyone, and I am not going to attack anyone in this thread. But if everyone were to know where I am going, then the results may not be accurate.

All good choices. I run a G21 as a duty weapon. Good piece of gear.

As for me.

I already stated what my duty pistol is. My secondary is a Taurus Judge .45/410.

My personal carry is a Glock 36 (you have to love those Glocks).

I am also a collector, at my North Carolina home I have every rifle the U.S. has issued from the M1865 Springfield .50/70 Gov up to the M14 (the civilian equivalent there of). I still have a little ways till I can finish my collection obviously.

And a few shotguns for bird hunting, and a few built hunting rifles (.338 Lapua Mag is my favorite).

I am sorry to hear about your father. It is always tough to loose a parent.

I work for an agency within the DoD.

Oh god, here we go

You are not important. Please do not convince yourself that you are, nor let the people in DC and at FLETC brainwash you. This comes from a former DoJ employee from a family of long-standing federal service.

Just needed to get that out there.

No I am not important. Nor would I ever pretend to be. I am just a lowly little GS14. No one important at all. But thank you for commenting and have a nice day.

Now back to the topic at hand.

You're a 14 who walks around strapped all day?

I'm sure the fellow people in your office and those you meet with all day are thrilled that you don't feel safe without a weapon on you. You're like Brian Smith all over again

14 step what, by the way. If you want to brag about your pay scale, at least give full disclosure.

edit: If you aren't on the SES scale, you aren't important. Regional ASAC's aren't important.

4. Now do I have to give my life story before we get back to the topic at hand?

I answered the question that way because it is simpler than going into a two paragraph explanation.
