I was actually talking about the broader arab world...they have safe neighborhoods in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan etc...not that thier government hates us but they have enough problems to fight the enemies of america when they aren't causing any trouble

However, GenP did say at one point "we estimated it at 120,000" as a rough number for foreign fighters

I think there is a very good chance they are!

I think Obama simply cannot be President for reasons you touched on above.
I think Clinton will continue the war despite of vagueries ot the contrary.
I think McCain will make us appreciate very little difference from Bush.
But, will we have heard the last from "Sheehan and Company?
Is the next President doomed to become another LBJ, without even a Nixon to dump the stinking mess onto?
