Woke up at the crack of dawn to get to work on time. I live in an apartment complex on campus, and we have a shuttle bus service to get to campus...one of the supposed perks of living there. However, due to budget cuts, they cut down the number of shuttles on the shuttle bus service so that there is only one running about every hour and fifteen minutes. That's obnoxious.

So I go outside this morning around 8 AM to catch a bus so that I can get to work on time. The bus never comes. Never. The buses are going, they just aren't picking up any students. It took a riot of phone calls, but finally a bus stops, but not very kindly. The bus driver yells at everyone going on for calling the transportation company.

So then I have to walk a good ten minutes in the rain to get to work. And when I get there, there are fire trucks. *sigh*

The power sparked and went out, however, I still have to work. So now I am sitting in my office, with the alarm still going off (has been for the last hour now). typing on the computer for the few minutes that we do have power. It's interesting. Hopefully the power will stay on long enough for me to complete one task before my professor gets back.

And yes I know, why am I on the forum if I have stuff I should be doing. Because I needed a place to complain about this lovely day.

I have no idea...the transportation department wouldn't tell us.

I couldn't fall asleep last night, I was reading til probably 5AM. My phone woke me up 5 short hours later.

So in other words... I need to go back to bed too...
