| Well he was very boring, not too charismatic, and screwed up the Whigs chance to finally have a candidate in the oval office. If only Henry Clay had won.... Curse you Andrew Jack*** sorry Jackson | ||||

| Wow I agree about wilson but stop dissing Lincoln and Roosevelt. Without Lincoln we would have been two separate countries and without Roosevelt we wouldnt have a navy, we wouldnt have national parks, big business would own the country and more and more and more. | ||||

FDR implemented much of the same policies to "fix" our economy as did socialists and fascists. People literally were starving to death while FDR was paying farmers to burn their crops. Teddy was a moron. He was "clearly insane...and insanest upon war and its supreme glories" - Mark Twain. Teddy was an Imperialist. He did not care for the rule of law, the Constitution, Courts, anything. He did only what he wished and what he thought was good. | ||||

| Um thats not true about T.R. he hated teddy so its a matter of respect also don't forget that he had to get congress to pass laws. Remember the United Mine Workers strike. He fixed that! Also as Lincoln himself said a a Senator from Illonois "A house divided cannot stand" I hate to break it to you but he was right it would have happened sooner or later and you needed a strong president to lead us through it. Also if a republican any republican won that election South Carolina would have seceded. It tried to before and it was destined to try it again. | ||||

| Also recall what other "Imperialist" presidents did. T.R. didnt do much but he did secure the Panama canal for us which was given to us by panama which yes was part of Columbia but dont forgot the Panamanians wanted independence anyway! Also if he didnt build it someone else definilty would have! | ||||
