I completely disagree. She is trying to push the line between art and the human body. The people who cover themselves with tattoos and/or bizarre piercings say they are engaged in "body art." She is trying to do a similar thing, only she's pushing the line one step further, to the point where something inside her own body can be seen as artistic. If no one is willing to continue to push boundaries, then art will die--the tenets of aesthetics have always involved going further and more provocative than your predecessors.

This is to me what makes it not art. She is doing something for shock value to further her goal of getting art recognized as something more abstract. Had she done something artful that happened to get alot of attention then it would creative and interesting. This is about as artful as me slapping a giant 6tf wang on a crappy sculpture and then saying it is art if people talk about it.

Thats because there is no answer. He tried to troll with some old jewish tradition and quote exodus that talks of men fighting accidentally causing a miscarraige, and anything else originally refers to miscarriage.

She terminated these pregnancies on her own. There really is no justification. The project should not be allowed, she should have to report to a mental health professional, and not allowed back in school until she completes her psych evaluation. Its assholes like her that end up taking a gun and killing 30 people for no reason.

Uhm...taking water poisoned from a priest to cause the expulsion of a fetus before it is viable...hmm...what do we call that? Abortion?

If my friend and some girl he knocked up decided to drink some liquid to cause the expulsion of the fetus before it was viable, would you say they had an abortion or not?

There's not "old jewish tradition" and "new jewish tradition" the bible is not some piece of leftover paper that Jews just randomly pick pages from and decide to follow...I posted a quote from a well respected Rabbi who specializes in inter-faith affairs, and many upon many jewish scholars from Israel and the US would agree, along with current practicing jews and their local rabbis on "abortion" not being immoral

So, if many Jews don't think it is immoral, based on thousands of years of tradition, who are you to tell them they're wrong and we need to start throwing people in psych wards?

1.) The University banned her project unless she agrees to a host of demands.

2.) Scientific tests showed that no human blood was present in her artwork.

The whole thing was one big hoax.

Well I'd say she accomplished her goal, which is to get people talking about the subject.
