Six months ago Hillary was a sure thing.

i'm also failing to see what that has to do with my question anyway... what he said was that obama has to be careful.

He's asking how losing to Hillary equates to losing to McCain in the general.. I kinda agree, this logic about winning "big states" by Hillary seems to be meaningless..

IMO, just because some demographics in those states prefer Hillary to Obama (barely in most cases) doesn't mean they prefer McCain to Obama

We're still so far out, and Obama doesn't seem like someone who's going to sit back and let people fling shit at him without fighting back.. not that Hillary is either, but I think Obama less so.

Bottom line is, if you took all the voters from 2004, added in the new voters for 2008...and divided them into three groups: Hillary supporters, Obama supporters, and McCain supporters...H+O= double digit win

The question is not how many supporters will change to McCain (few will when November hits) but how many will stay home...and again the reality of November and thinking about another 4 years of someone Obama will use tens of millions of dollars to show is like Bush...will be too much for Hillary supporters who will hold their nose and vote for Obama

Of course, this assumes Obama or his supporters don't screw it up

I was agreeing with SoFlaJDM. I'm saying 6 months is a long time. Just look what happened to the Democratic primary. A national election is too close to call.
