From observing the game again on the DVR without being under the influence of beer...

Our O-Line failed to show up

When taylor had time, or they actually made their blocks, they gained yards like they did in their first two games.

The defense played as well as could be expected against the two best recievers in college football, and a good qb. In fact going into the 4th quarter USC had 230 yards and NU had 210 yards, so all things considered it was not that bad. The Marlon Lucky fumble was the nail in the coffin. If that did not happen, it would have been a different final score.

They just have a couple things to iron out and I think they are very capable of winning the big 12. They will definitely take the north. This weekend against troy will be a good test. People are like who the fuck is troy... but they gave florida state a run for their money a couple weeks ago.

I gotta say though, Lucky has not impressed me at all.
I know they are moving into a west coast scheme and that causes changes, but ffs lets still recruit some running backs.

I really like Brandon Jackson of the 4 backs we have that rotate. Cody Glenn is a bit slower, but they are still the same style. They are both kind of 6/10 when shaking someone but are 9/10 when breaking tackles and running over people. Brandon Jackson has great hands and is good for about everything.

I think Marlon is good for swing and screen passes, but i dont think he is a between the tackles type guy. Kenny Wilson is still to new to prove himself yet.

The offensive line is the main problem still. I think we will beat anyone with a mediocre line but people like USC will beat us every time.
