The longer this shit goes on, the less likely we are to win in November. Hell, all the Republican strategists I saw on coverage last night said the same thing: "The Democrats are shooting themselves in the foot and we love it." CNN's guy even said "We don't even have to run any adds since Hillary is doing all the work for us." The RNC is practically salivating at the possibility of Clinton being nominated, as they know they would win an election they should have lost by a mile.

This is all pretty simply and very accurate reasoning. Thus, those voters and superdelegates who are pushing for Hillary to stay in are, in effect, one letter at a time signing the death wish of the Democrats' chances in November. So, go ahead, call me an elitist. If that's what it means to be concerned about your party's future, and the party members who are pissing on it, then fine, I'm an elitist and proud of it.

Dismissing Hillary voters as stupid zombies is elitist and arrogant and is a major reason why he lost in PA...people despise his supporters...are the people in MA stupid too? It's one of the most intellectual states in the Union...

Newly registered voters come nowhere near what is needed to win these crucial states...Kerry-voters + New voters = win...New voters would have to be 140,000+ and all for Obama...and Kerry would have to win ALL the Kerry voters...and that's assuming McCain doesn't get ANY MORE votes than Bush did...a ridiculously tall order
In Short: new/young voters went from being completely awful at showing up to pretty sad at showing up

Hillary currently is winning in state by state polls against McCain...she could lose the ENTIRE midwest, southwest, rocky mountains, [real] south, and she'd still win with her current states of deep blue states + OH/PA/FL where she's been and is currently leading McCain...thats with all the Dem Clinton haters out there already who have a good chance of calming down

If the Dems lose in 2008, it's not the end of the world, Dukakis was supposed to be a slam dunk in 2008, his near-20 point lead DURING THE ELECTION SUMMER, was considered a big sign people were sick of the GOP...but shit happpens...and Obama does not have a statistically significant lead...let alone 17+....
