I had a Masculine Saturday

-Went to the range in the morning with my roommate, took two of my friends who hadn't shot before
-They got bought us lunch/beers
-Went to a draft party, a guy at the party was from philly so he made real Philly Cheese Steaks
-Called it a day around 9

Boy that ain't no gun thats a rifle. I bet drill sargeants still use that as an excuse to yell at the troops in basic training luckily l wasn't the one that made that mistake long ago, but I would have if I had been asked.

I agree it's going to take some luck--I'm hoping I can parlay my internship in DC this fall into some serious networking contacts.

yeah i just quit my job as an investment banking assistant to go work for an environmental engineering firm in marketing instead.

investment banks are fucking crazy houses. they work around the clock on shit that really doesn't make a difference in the world. its sad really. and they never see their spouses or kids.

shit loads of money, but not worth it.

my mom came up and went around boston with me. we went shopping then drove around looking at the old houses in cambridge. then after she left to go back to RI, met up with my bf at a friends house for a BBQ and draft. then home after, next day, another friends house for BBQ, Beerpong, and end of draft, then home.

caught up on some more season 2 Lost DVDs.....

overall a nice weekend.
