Elitest Liberals freaking out.

The nation’s top Democrats are suddenly rushing to appear on the Fox News Channel, which they once had shunned as enemy territory as the nemesis of liberal bloggers.

In a span of eight days, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY.) and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean are all taking their seats with the network that calls itself “fair and balanced” but is widely viewed as skewing conservative.

Fox trumps Netroots; bloggers rebel - Mike Allen - Politico.com
Let the elitist whining commence!

Markos Moulitsas, founder of the leading liberal site Daily Kos, told Politico’s Michael Calderone: "Democrats are being idiotic by going on that network.”

In other words, if you don't agree with him, you are an idiot. Pretty typical.

I think this is one of the fall outs of Rev. Wright and Obama's problems with connecting with blue collar workers.

Obama appears on the network because its viewers are the most conservative (both democrat and republican) of the networks.

Hillary appeared right after the Rev. Wright disowning because the conservative democrats are most likely to watch foxnews, so by not saying she was trying to capitalize on it she was.

Just because you are sick of it doesn't mean it's not true or shouldn't be used.

Well it isn't true, or better yet, the use of it is disingenuous. A lot of conservatives who use that word are themselves "elitist", you think people like Bush or Cheney isn't? There are no "liberal elites", there are elitists period, the attachment of "liberal" before it is a poor political tactic to try to hide the deficiencies and massive failures of the conservative ideology (run by elites) over the past 8 years.

I rather have a person who is an elitist - in that they are intelligent, articulate, have leadership capabilities - than an everyman even if the elitist is a bit out of touch with my life. The office of the President, if I must remind you, is a powerful and complex office, it requires - no - demands an exceptional person.

Calling Democrats terrorists isn't acceptable anymore so they have moved on to this.

I try to catch smidgeons of O'Reilly, as much of him as I can stand, per a "Lombardiism" that goes something like, "don't pass-up a chance to learn all you can about your enemy". I caught Hillary on his show last night and was, probably for the first time, sympathetically uncomfortable for her (I tried, but couldn't stand to watch it all). If she suffers that fool again, after the election cycle, I'd be amazed. It's a sad, but true fact, that we put our candidates (both parties) through a cruel process that approaches college hazing.

Are you trying to call Kos elitist? Or what? I'm confused.

i really don't even think he knows... he just heard elitist being used in a negative connotation about anyone to the left of savage, so he thought it would fly here
