| I don't dispute that, but they have reversed the cause and effect. They are trying to assert that the use of Marijuana CAUSES mental illness and suicidal thoughts. AHHH REFER MADNESS!!! | ||||

| Umm... If you can get my some weed that'll make it psychoactive, I'm down for it. The only time I've seen someone have "suicidal thoughts" was when my friend at 14 smoked a joint that he didn't know was laced with PCP (called a P-Dawg). That fucked with his brain (he now takes medication because he does get suicidal thoughts, but that was cause of the PCP which made him trip-out really hard) but trust me weed isn't powerful enough to make you have suicidal thoughts, the more you smoke your tolerance gets bigger. I mean it's possible I guess... That it "MIGHT" happen, but a less than 1% chance I would say it has. Weed isn't a harmful drug. But I don't condone kids or teenagers using it, because it does make you lazier and hungry. That's as bad as it gets. | ||||

| yeah I think the decades of research that contradict the governments study pretty much confirm it. Marijuana is one of the most harmless drugs we know of. | ||||

| Very true, we even have a natural chemical in our brain and our grass called DMT. Which is the most illegal substance in the United States, the chemical DMT in our brain is what allows us to dream, people would extract that out of the grass, smoke it and some say they end up in a different world (they're actually dreaming but they're awake, that's a bit trippy). No study can prove it's harmful to the person because it's a natural chemical from a humans brain, yet the government bans it for stupid reasons (ex. War on Drugs). Weed isn't very harmful, if smoked with blunt wraps or other things it can but a very small % chance of giving a person cancer but Weed is used a medicine to help sick patients cure their nausea. I don't think doctors would give patients a medicine that would cause suicidal thoughts or mental illness. | ||||

Look, I'm all for the legalization of it, but the fact of the matter is that since it's an illegal substance they haven't been able to do enough widespread research on it's longterm effects. You breathe smoke into your lungs and it fucks up your brain; I'm just trying to say that there's probably a pretty good chance that it does in fact do something to you.
