Olivia has been tough in that way (less so with the vaccines and moreso with physical therapy and such) because they just don't write books about kids with missing left arms/shoulders and stomachs that aren't arranged the normal way. There is no manual and she is clearly a special case in many ways so we can't just do what everyone does.
I agree, my kids won't grow up in a padded room, maybe I fear being that too tough overbearing father when I made my previous statement. I have no intentions of turning out future Marines with my kids, they will be individuals with different talents that will suit them.

The "fuck it, I will be ok" attitude is good enough for me, honestly I am tougher than about 99% of the population on the planet. So I know that I need to work on my understanding skills, if my kid is in the arts and plays or whatever I will support that 100%.

If you want to look at via karma, I am due the situation that you were dealt with. I could write a volume about my near scrapes but no real problems, but that would bore anyone.

I don't view what happened as bad karma or anything at all, just a pure blessing. This little girl is exceptional and amazing. The only thing that hasn't been a blessing is the cost But she's worth it 100%

That depends on the risk I would be exposing them to by not vaccinating. People sometimes forget they expose themselves and their children to risks everyday, some of them far worse than the risk of vaccination.

Examples:

* Expose their kids to smoke
* Drive them around in a car
* Allow them to ride bikes / play sports

As far as I know complications from vaccinations are rare, care accidents not so much.
