That's not really the same is it. We did not go to war in Iraq BECAUSE they said we were violent. We didn't go because they said anything at all. We went over there under the premise that IRaq had both ties to terrorists and an active WMD program.. both of which turned out to be wrong but that's another arguement for another time.

If you go to war because someone says something mean to you... you have some serious issues.

These people are going to war because someone said something bad about them.. When was the last time someone insulted you? Did you take a sword to them and light thier house on fire? Did you declare war on thier entire family?

There are many, many Muslim leaders who say bad things about the Christians. I have yet to see Christians leave their nation and go firebomb temples because of it though.

Muslims have no choice, in Saudi Arabia, the family dictatorship will not allow voices of dissent against the US or ever seriously change its relationship with the US regardless of what its followers say...their only recourse is to go to the battleground themselves and fight

I think the problem is the spotlight on an already unstable culture. These people right now, are like the world's problem. Their culture is not something we are used to dealing with. It reminds me of the shock to America when we found out about Kamikaze pilots, and how crazy we thought that was. It's cultural. It doesn't excuse it, but that's the reason it is what it is...

NAIROBI, Kenya Sister Leonella, a nun who devoted her life to helping the sick in volatile regions of Africa, used to joke that there was a bullet with her name engraved on it in Somalia. When the bullet came, she used her last breaths to forgive those responsible.

"I forgive, I forgive," she whispered in her native Italian just before she died, the Rev. Maloba Wesonga told The Associated Press at the nun's memorial mass in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, on Monday.

Sister Leonella's execution-style murder over the weekend has raised concerns that she and other foreigners who have been killed in Somalia recently are victims of growing Islamic radicalism in the country.

Americans have the potential to be just as violent as Muslims. Maybe not directly on other countries, but all humans have the streak, it's just that it can be brought out in different ways. Right now, Muslims are the defense because they are being accused of being a religion that is instigating trouble around the world. They have been in a spotlight for almost 5 years. Sometimes when you label something as something, it might not be that at first, but eventually it will turn to that...

They have.

This behavior is not religious. It's human. It only has a religious connotation to it. That's the group that's doing this NOW. But, other types of classifications have done similar, same, and then some because they were upset over something we might think is irrational.
