Some people support their candidates by stuffing envelopes, going door to door or maybe hosting a cocktail party at their home. Other people use VoterVoter to influence millions of Americans by running their own TV commercials in support of their favorite candidate.
Ever have a great idea for a campaign ad? Ever think that you could run a better ad than the campaign that you are supporting? With VoterVoter, you can create the advertising message of your choice or select a commercial that has already been prepared for each major candidate.
VoterVoter will get your message on the air in a specific city, state, or throughout the country. You can target your message based on gender, demographics or ethnicity.
VoterVoter will make it easy for you to exercise your Freedom of Speech rights to sponsor messages that support your views. In addition to running the message of your choice, we will prepare the correct Federal Election Commission paperwork and help you file it.
VoterVoter is a non-partisan political advertising service.
VoterVoter was founded to further democratize the political process and to help individuals promote messages, candidates and causes that they care about. VoterVoter is a fully owned subsidiary of the software company WideOrbit Inc.

Kind of sad that this came along too late to help ron paul, but this kind of site would have given his minions a lot more power to help run his campaign than he did.

Anyhow, given the swiftboat ads and their influence over the last election, if the average voters can coordinate together and sponsor local ads and even make their own, I can only imagine the 527 ads we'll see this go around.

If the base rallies around getting a certain message out in a state/region, it could have big implications, far more than anything on the internet will.

the advantage of running an ad on the internet is that you don't have to meet the FCC and FEC regulations.

You're still missing out on a very large percentage of the voting populace though. You can run an FCC/FEC compliant commercial extremely effectively, again, look at the swiftboat ads. You can get a group of people who can spew all sorts of negativity which would put the candidate on the defensive.

That's the real question though, how large of an audience will the ad really have?

I mean, if it gets free airtime through news coverage of the ad and the website, it could have a huge impact.. but I mean, is it going to run nationally? Or statewide in a specific state? Or in just one city?

The beauty of youtube is that millions of people can see once it gets linked around, and if it's worth watching, it will

Awesome! Great article, Tank. Well, this will go well for the Bob Barr campaign if he wins the LP nomination. Ralph Nader too. A 3rd party candidate should look into hiring a campaign staff that had positive influences on the Ron Paul campaign.

NOTE: Paul Congress: filling the US Congress with strict Ron Paul Constitutionalists. this has become the Ron Paul Grassroots' new agenda. Which is a very smart idea, grow the libertarian GOP base with-in the party and get your agendas put forward. They've been handling it very classy, except for Nevada, and I think you'll see that conservative message get put forward through internal work.

Well, that seems to be the beauty of this site. If you had a coordinated effort like the Ron Paul Money Bombs, you could get yourself a pretty prime ad. Look at how much money obama is raising. If someone decided they could coordinate a push in a state where Obama has written off in favor of a more key state, his supporters could buy airtime in the neglected states.

How does VoterVoter work?
The process is simple.
1. Decide on your advertisement: Browse the existing selection of political advertisements in the VoterVoter library and select the one you want to use, or upload your own advertisement.
2. Select Your Target Audience and Market: You decide who you want to reach - geography, age, sex and ethnicity. Once you select the target audience, and tell us your budget, VoterVoter media buyers will determine the advertising placement schedule that meets your objectives.
3. Payment: Pay by credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover) or wire funds directly to VoterVoter. Due to broadcast TV station policy, payment needs to be made in advance of buying the media time requested for a political advertisement. Contact VoterVoter at 415-675-6765 or email support@votervoter.com if you decide to wire the funds to us.

Where will my advertisement run?

You decide who you want to reach - city, state, or throughout the country - as well as age, gender and ethnicity. Once you select the target audience and tell us your budget, VoterVoter media buyers will determine the advertising placement schedule that meets your objectives.
