One has to wonder just how many classified documents are kept secret because of national security concerns and how many are kept secret simply because if declassified, they would be an embarrassment to the government or outrage the public.

Far too many. In fact there should some form of review board that the governmnet has little influence over that should review all classified material.

I strongly believe the government has no right to keep secrets from it's people unless letting them know is likely to endager them significantly
