| I went with DIAF. Drowning scares the shit out of me. I'd expect the fire thing would be faster too. | ||||

| Drown. First, if I know I'm going to drown I can just inhale the water myself and speed up the process. I can't make the fire burn any faster (assuming this isn't a suicide). Second, I imagine burning to death would be way more painful. | ||||

| I figured fire wouldn't be so bad, considering most fire deaths are caused by inhaling the smoke and passing out. I certainly wouldn't want to feel my nerve endings melting away. Ouch! ![]() If I had to feel the whole burning process, then I'd go with drowning. | ||||

| Hm yeah I guess DIAF doesn't imply burning to death. If it's smoke/carbon inhalation vs. water inhalation then I'll probably take smoke/carbon | ||||

| I woudl prefer to drown. The 'hurting' part of it doesn't last very long and i hear that when your brain has a lack of oxygen you get to see some trippy images. | ||||

| If you died in a hot fire, I don't think you'd feel anything after a few seconds. If it were a slow burning fire and I died in it (for some reason), I'd probably have passed out due to smoke inhalation anyway, so probably no feeling there either. Drowning would just suck... especially if you knew for a few seconds beforehand that you were about to drown. | ||||

| I'd drown. I had a dream where I drowned once and it wasn't ALL that bad. It might make you panic and be really uncomfortable... but at least it wouldn't hurt. I once touched a hot stove and that hurt like a motherfucking bitch. I'd imagine going up in flames would be a thousand times more painful than that small little blister on my pinky was. No thanks. Just dunk my head underwater. | ||||

| I think drowning would be more painful than dying in a fire (and would take longer). Typically you'd be unconscious and once the burns set in (second or two you wouldn't feel much). | ||||

| So let's see...passing out from smoke and going to sleep to die or die while inhaling water? Fire. | ||||

| I think we need some clarification on whether this is dying by actual fire or by inhaling smoke, etc. | ||||
