How many of you guys are getting dragged to the theatres to see this now that it's out?

My gf wants to see it. I'm not going.. it's two and a half hours. Forget that. Perhaps if it were shorter I'd be willing to torture myself through it if she went to see Indiana Jones with me. But for 2.5 hours, no way.

Yeah, 2.5 hours is REALLY long. I mean, Lord of the Rings was 3 wasn't it? Or was that only the extended version.

She wont go see Indiana Jones with you?

I'm going back to my hometown b/c the guy who was my best man is getting married and I'm his best man. While attending his bachelor party, my wife will be hanging out with my sister, and they're going to see it.

So I lucked out.

totally gonna see it, but with my girlfriends. My guy is not interested and that's fine by me. we did see Indy last week, and he rocked it for being 60+ yrs old. the CGI was a bit too much for me (especially the groundhogs and monkeys scenes) but it was an indy-esk type of movie. I just wish they had stuck to earthly history.......

You're basing your idea of the show on the TBS version? Eck. I had to suffer through about a dozen episodes when they were on HBO or whatever. Same episode on TBS was way shitty.

But then I think that about any censored version of a TV show or movie after I've seen the uncensored version

If your wife got into it, I'm surprised she didn't want to rent the series. It's been out for a while. That's how my wife watched most of them.

No, not worth it. I don't watch the show regularly or anything, but I've sat through it with the boobs enough times to say that there is not nearly enough nakedness in it.

On a similar note, I've been watching The Tudors because someone here mentioned it. It's kinda shitty and not nearly as good as Rome (for some reason, I feel compelled to compare it to Rome). The only reason I'm watching the series at this point is to see some tits ... because without those tits, I'd be way too focused on the historical inaccuracies and predictable story.
