That's your evidence?

I figured you had something like "I think the wealthy should have to give all their money to the homeless" or "Buisness needs larger regulation and taxation".

Those things you quoted have nothing to do with the right/left scale. unless you are ignorant enough to think hating the right = far to the left.

If the original post was about religion; I will evidence that the purposes of all spiritual faiths are quite the same. But it is their practicing tenets that are radically different -- you will find that Mulsim Extremism is simply a product of the current environment around them.

Democratic representative Jim Marshall of Georgia said, "Dean's take on Iraq makes even less sense than the scream in Iowa; both are uninformed and unhelpful." [19] North Dakota Representative Earl Pomeroy was critical of Dean for making policy recommendations as chair of the DNC, telling a radio audience, "my words to Howard Dean are simple - shut up."[20] Democratic Senator Bill Nelson of Florida said December 7 on Fox News Live that "I'm not speaking for Howard Dean, and Howard Dean is not speaking for me."

After Dean remarked that the Republican Party is "pretty much a white, Christian party", Senator Barack Obama criticized Dean for using "religion to divide." Obama said "as somebody who is a Christian myself, I don't like it when people use religion to divide, whether that is Republican or Democrat...I think in terms of his role as party spokesman, Dean probably needs to be a little more careful and I suspect that is a message he is going to be getting from a number of us." He also said "we are at a time in our country's history that inclusive language is better than exclusive language."

Believing that Howard Dean's comments will alienate many voters, various Republicans have been indifferent to and even welcomed Dean's remarks. Senator John McCain for example told Cybercast News Service outside a Rock the Vote event, "Howard Dean is the gift that keeps on giving. [21]

As for being out of touch with reality... I don't think the liberals have the corner on that market.. but I agree with this particular instance. It think these crazies in the middle east are posing a growing threat... mostly due to our own arrogance in attacking thier countries.. but we can't change the past now. We are in a real tight spot here.

sounds like a Jewish liberal wrote that, amirite?

liberal on everything but Israel, the Middle East, and national security in general

also holds the false idea that anything more "liberal" than a neocon national security policy is appeasement and doesn't understand the threat... pretty much total hogwash
