I think that AIDS is not a disease that discriminates. And it's not a "Gay" disease, as some zealots would have you believe. I believe that two soldiers in the same unit, going abroad, and both of them engage in sexual behavior unprotected, both have the same chances of getting it. Excuse me asshole, but for your information I'm not a homophobe. Secondly, I've had too much experience with gays making snide comments to me about pretty much anything you can think of. Just a few months ago at an alumni event I was in the restroom takin a piss at the urinal. This gay guy on the phone comes in and stands at the urinal next to me. While he has his phone in one hand, his pecker in the other, he decides to look over the wall to look at mine. Does he try to hide it? No! Does he do it quickly? No! Does he do it only once? No! This fucker thought that my takin a piss was essentially a free-for-all for him or anyone else to check out the package. It angered me to no end. Am I afraid of them? Certainly not. Do I want them ogling over my pieces like men do women? Of course not. I can totally sympathize with women who are constantly ogled at on this issue. I was hangin out at this bar, and this gay guy came over and was talking to me. Ok fine, no problem, he was hilarious, funny, good conversationalist, whatever. I was with a girl friend of mine, but it was cool. As I was walking to the bathroom he said "hey come over here" so I turned around and went back to see what he wanted. He proceeded to say "nothing I just wanted to see you walk to the bathroom again". Yeah it was funny, but it happens a lot more than I'd like. As I was leaving the bar he also says "if and when you decide to like boys, make sure you call me!". Yeah...

All the rest are more humorous than anything, but the dude literally looking over the urinal wall was just infuriating.

Proof? 10% of humanity could be considered homosexual. Depending on if you use Kinsey's rate of homosexuality, or if you exclusively are homosexual is debatable.

Such conduct would be grounds for discharge from the military.

Your previous post of "as long as they have seperate showers" leads one to conclude you are afraid (also known as "would not appreciate") they might look at you and oogley googly at you. No, you are not afraid of them.

I have personally had a gay man say "can i suck your dick i'll leave right after". I still do not think their conduct should reflect all gays, just as a black person stealing tv's should reflect on their ability to join the military.

The point is, unlike Dos Equis would like to think, gays do check other guys out, they do look at their shit, and they do fantasize about them. So no, I don't want to take showers with that happening all the time. Like I said, it has nothing to do with insecurity, it's just not something I want to be around all the time.

I look at other women all the time. You are assuming the fantasy aspect of it. If you don't want to be looked at, forget going in public. Don't use urinals. But, just because you don't want to be around it all the time, doesn't mean that they should have this policy.

The point is, others don't want to be around it either, as KG is trying to tell you. The military depends on people being a cohesive unit, and when that's disturbed, it can be detrimental. Blame it on whoever you want, but discomfort in your platoon is not a good thing.
