No, it's not because I think it's fun, it's because you're wrong. I'm making perfect sense...see above. Before you tell someone to spend money cleaning shit you first need to show it's actually harmful.
And about ciggarettes.. sorry. They are the leading "preventable" cause of death in the US.
:bzzt: Wrong again. That would be "heart disease."

Not according to the CDC. Heart disease is the leading cause of death. killing something like 650,000 a year. Period. Followed by cancer at over 500,000 a year. Ciggarettes kill 400,000 a year. But as for preventable death. Yes, ciggarettes are the biggest killer.
Cigarette Smoking-Related Mortality
Cigarette smoking is the single most preventable cause of premature death in the United States. Each year, more than 400,000 Americans die from cigarette smoking. In fact, one in every five deaths in the United States is smoking related. Every year, smoking kills more than 276,000 men and 142,000 women.1
But that's neither here nor there.

And that is exactly what I said. We already knew it was harmful. You act like this is new, like before this study we didn't know pollution was harmful to our health. Nothing could be further from the truth. There have already been numerous studies on the effects of pollution. It's health effects have been well documented.
