I think the plan is lacking a plan. I think if legislation was passed with a start date 10-20 years in the future, you would find a whole industry of green-ifying consultants and such pop up to help these companies reduce their tax bills. If you start a company green then you don't have to worry about a huge tax bill. If you start a company black (brown? gray?), then you do. I think it's a great idea on paper and I agree that the execution is critical. Gore needs to come out with some specifics.

Time for the bait and switch. Pass it and set it to go into affect in 10 years. Then about 9 3/4ths years after everyone is more "green" repeal it and keep it the way things are now.
