You also bypassed the complex biological chemical processing that the cow does for us. The cow turns water and vegetable matter into milk. that's no small feat. The cow does that for us so we don't even have to think about it. With oil, we are the ones who have to turn oil into gasoline so we see exactly how complex it is. Milk is easier to produce only as far as you and I are concerned but for the cow, it's quite energy intensive!

what are you talking about? it's so easy for a cow it can do it in its sleep!

Because the price of a barrel of kittens changes with supply and demand.
Right now there is a kitten glut. I bought 2 barrels the other day for $1.98

Fine, just feed cows rotting vegetable matter and we can milk them for oil.
